I imagine programming the 20% space will become critical to the success of the project. In my view, the office spaces will have an equal square footage to the Idea spaces and will be interspersed throughout the building to allow for maximum collaboration. I think it is important the public have access to much of the buildings and the transparency of the open systems is prominent. Auditoriums for speeches and demonstrations, a gallery for display of ideas past and present, large conference rooms for impromptu group sessions.

From Denise:

Program list is good. Can you tell me the approx SF of the spaces? can you make a graphic that starts to talk about the approx size of spaces and how they might be related to one another -- see program examples in the for everyone folder. Can you map out how big all these spaces are all together (gross SF of the program) and show me how big that area is on your site?

From Denise:

also, tell the 3 line stories from 10 different kinds of people who use/inhabit the spaces:

tell the story about the janitor, the visitor, the CEO, the manager, the drone worker, the thief, the admin, using the 3 line format....what spaces do they inhabit - how do they feel? what are they like? can you use words to act as spatial metaphors?

see this: go to http://waverlyfilms.com/
click on click of the week. see "hackworth"; then "hackworth2"....

but don't get all caught up in all the films (they are really funny though).
